The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences holds the distinction of being the faculty that offers the most number of programmes at the University. The faculty was formed in 2010 to meet the aspirations of the nation to produce more professional human capital in the allied health sciences field. It seeks to nurture the next generation of leaders in the healthcare profession.
The Faculty concentrates on 5 key disciples namely Psychology, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Engineering Technology, Paramedical Sciences and Medical Assistant. These society are geared towards meeting the talent gaps in the Malaysia health care industry as identified by the Ministry of Health. In support of the multidisciplinary team approach for healthcare delivery the society and faculty aims to continue growing and diversifying with a student-focused faculty and a wide range of academic interests.
