On 16 May 2025, the University of Cyberjaya organised a nursing sponsorship briefing and interview session with Sunway Medical, linking interested nursing students directly with a prospective healthcare employer. A total of 30 students attended, with the session providing a platform to understand sponsorship opportunities and the expectations associated with a professional nursing career.
The engagement also created a direct route from initial interest to candidate assessment. Of the attendees, 13 applied for scholarships. These recorded outcomes demonstrate the value of employer-facing engagements that combine information-sharing with an opportunity for students to progress towards tangible career support.
